That would be fine Dee as it's in tune with the OP. A different observation shall we say.

Well..
Darkgael, Claims some special insight, but is posting else where.

Posting elsewhere?? Upon what basis did you develop that piece of fiction? Elsewhere? Where else? Not about this.
Yes, those footprints are evidence of somethings walking through what was then mud at about the time that you cite
I infer from your question that, since those prints were evidently made by a bipedal animal, you believe that they were made by a human.
If my inference is correct, you are not alone in your feeling.
Can you think of no other possiblities? Did you investigate the subject at all? Perhaps you did. If you did, then you know that there were a multitude of animals living in the Cretaceous period that walked on two legs. Some of them were human sized but certainly not human. some of them would have left tracks about the same size as a human footprint. The tracks would have left claw marks....and some of those claw marks are visible in those supposedly human footprints. A person who wanted those foot prints to be human or who was unaware that dinosaurs had a claw on the heel of their feet might well miss them or not look for them at all.
Are you familiar with Occam's Razor? Use of it applies here.

Occum's Razor. " Simpler solutions are more likely to be correct than complex ones. When presented with competing hypotheses to solve a problem. One should select the solution with the fewest assumptions.
Heck we learned that in college.

Pete some guy like you taught us that.

Whole lot smarter than you think here. Let's see someone explain a charged particle and how it relates
to a common use? Quick don't look it up lol.

So what's the name(s) of this animal(s) that your believe most probably left those tracks?
