Darkgael, Claims some special insight, but is posting else where.
Ray: you did not have to ask twice - second time at a shout.
I do not spend every waking moment at the computer keyboard.
Posting elsewhere?? Upon what basis did you develop that piece of fiction? Elsewhere? Where else? Not about this.
Yes, those footprints are evidence of somethings walking through what was then mud at about the time that you cite
I infer from your question that, since those prints were evidently made by a bipedal animal, you believe that they were made by a human.
If my inference is correct, you are not alone in your feeling.
Can you think of no other possiblities? Did you investigate the subject at all? Perhaps you did. If you did, then you know that there were a multitude of animals living in the Cretaceous period that walked on two legs. Some of them were human sized but certainly not human. some of them would have left tracks about the same size as a human footprint. The tracks would have left claw marks....and some of those claw marks are visible in those supposedly human footprints. A person who wanted those foot prints to be human or who was unaware that dinosaurs had a claw on the heel of their feet might well miss them or not look for them at all.
Are you familiar with Occam's Razor? Use of it applies here.
