Don't think I've ever seen mention of a bigfoot track wearing a shoe.
The Meister print Darkgael mentioned in his post #2 was a 500 million old shoe print with the trilobite.
Yet his Occam's Razor explanation is that of a yet unnamed bi-pedal animal???

Ray: you are expecting a lot for a little. You should probably ask a paleontologist who is familiar with the Paluxy River. site.
You jumped to the article about the shoe print and the Trilobite.
i asked two questions in that post. i have not seen an answer to either.
You refer to RCD. You are correct about its limitations. Fortunately there are six or seven other forms of radiometric dating that are more accurate.
Why are you so willing to believe that Humans were alive 140 million years ago. 500 million years ago?
Footprints....are you familiar with this story....also about a footprint..

Same mistake being made.

You could apply Occam's Razor to both as a way to the truth. I suggested it obliquely as a way to the truth in the Paluxy River issue. You seem to be trying to ....well, I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do.

One thing for sure..for every creationist out there looking for early man evidence...there will be an unbeliever trying to find a way to dash his ideas..

It's an old story.. light/darkness, good/bad, male/female... ying and yang..

.
Sorry..having to go to the device of quoting myself, but it seemed to be in order.

The evidence of recently uncovered tracks seems convincing.

I have had the old Occam's razor game played on me too...but if we are completely honest, how do we decide which side of the razor to come down upon?

I submit that "Occam's razor" is just a polite way of saying, "that's my story, and I'm sticking with it"...and it is often used by both sides.

Quite the conundrum isn't it?

I know humans and dinosaurs were around at the same time. I saw a movie with both in it. I think Raquel Welch was one of the humans.

Hey they can't make movies about stuff that isn't real can they???????

You do have a point. As you noted earlier, this is a discussion that has been ongoing for a while. It is not apt to be settled here.

GB, that was only 1 Million Years BC, we're talking 140 to 500 million years ago.
But if the female beauty genes de-evolved to that level 1 million years ago,
that bi-pedal animal must have been 140-500 times that!
You know shoes are important to females.

Darkgael,

Where were you when God laid the foundation of the earth?
Who set its measurements? Or who stretched the line on it?
On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone?
When the morning stars sang together,
Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And caused the dawn to know its place?
Have you entered into the sea and walked in the recesses of the deep?
Have the gates of death been revealed to you, or have you seen the gates of deep darkness?
Have you understood the expanse of the earth?
Tell me, if you know all this.

Ray: Beautiful questions. Did you compose them? They are wonderfully poetic.
I remain unsure of what your motive is for asking them.
My answers...fairly, to the questions above are straight no down the line.
When I was a boy, I would lie down in an open field and look up into the sky....easy to lose oneself in the clouds. As an adult, I often, of a summer night (and sometimes a winter night) lie out in a hammock and lose myself in the stars. I get up very early and sit in the woods and watch/listen to the world come awake.....but that is not what you are looking for is it? What are you looking for, Ray?

Both sides have staked claims, and both sides are "sticking to it" ! Don't expect anyone to back down...

Yes, I am a Christian, and I believe it happened as said..but I don't fully agree with Bishop Usher..

As Christians we deny some very much processed evidence..

Just this morning I finished a book on the various searches for Noah's ark.

Suppose the ark was found nearly intact, next week; do you think for a moment the evolutionists would suddenly say..
"jeepers, I guess we were wrong" ?

If you believe that...I'm putting that 'for sale' sign back up on the bridge.
