Default Gin Blossoms and Counting Crows.

I had forgotten about this song by the Gin Blossoms until I heard it over the speakers at Dollar General.

Both bands had members who once were from the Wallflowers. Who had Bob Dylan's son.

Ah Alternative (College radio station) rock.
I did, and still do but not as often , listen to College stations radio where this music is played around here.
Sadly NPR bought up some of the college stations, so they play the same stuff, so such stations are getting hard to find while such stations in the Twin Cities come and go plus do not have signal strength to go very far.

Would not thinks so but some of these, new compared to the sixties to eighties groups, are nostalgic when I here them as they remind of when I would go to the Twin Cities , by myself, just because I could.

This one is special to me Bob. It reminds me of a secretary i once worked with. She was my best friend, not a
girlfriend. She died, I miss you Alice. We lost a headlight and had to drive back home with only one. Long time
ago.

Ha! That’s great.

First concert I ever went to was gin blossoms and spin doctors!

Went to a counting crows concert where they didnt want to sing mr jones. Crowd almost rioted! No joke. They finally did it as the 2nd or 3rd encore. Said something like we’ll do it but not happy about it!!

Good memories in this post! Thanks for posting

It was a little later in their stardom I believe and they were trying to get away from only being known for it. I think they had a new album and wanted to do all their new stuff. They were not happy about it I can tell you that! Lol. Fans were P.O.’d
