I'd have to say, one of my Marlin model 60s
Leupold 3x9x33 AO, Rimfire scope.
KAT trigger.
Laminated stock.
DIP atomic charge handle.
Extremely accurate.
I'll go as far to say... The Marlin model 60, is the absolute best.22 rifle Ever made.
Bar none.

Marlin bolt action .17 Mach 2 has been my favorite since the day I killed my first squirrel with it.

Still living under the curse, but one of these days I will shed this body, be clothed with an immortal one, and everything will be good.

In my youth I used a single shot 20 Stevens/savage 3” 4 shot because that combination kept a nice tight shot column or pattern. Now that I have more coin and eat far less squirrel my favorite is a ruger 77/22.

I like #4 shot on squirrels too, complete pass through.
