I don`t see the point unless you want to shoot long range. I can easily shoot 50 yards now if I choose to, which I don't. Maybe for field birds? Mike

I have an older friend that shoots TSS #9's in his full choke Winchester 37 410. He's killing 'em to 40 yards. Says he gets 137 pellets in 10" at 40 yds.

My SIL shoots tss in a 12 ga. And took my GS for his first turkey last year with my 20mga benelli and tss 6s. But the GS developed quite a Flench so I’m going to let him use my 410 double and the tss 9s this season.

Yesterday we spent patterning both my 410 doubles on turkey targets. The kind that show different colors when the shot hits.

My lefever 410 right barrel seems to shoot center of pattern about 6” left of head at 25 yards. The left barrel full choke is dead on. Cover the head with that bead and you have 8-10 pellets in the kill zone.

The Stevens 311 does not pattern as well. And the GS like the little wand of a shotgun, the lefever.

I’m just not certain GS can remember to hold slightly to the right for the modified barrel. May need to just use the full barrel and consider it a single shot.
