Default Took my grandson out turkey hunting

For the annual youth hunt last weekend.

Saturday morning we called in a Tom but he was with a hen and even though he was about 30 yards grandson couldn’t get a clear shot because of all the brush.

Sunday morning was a repeat of Saturday just in a different spot.

We were hunting on at the ranch but were surrounded by state managment land. And there were youth hunters on state land. My grandson was the only hunter on the ranch.

Oh well the regular spring season will open next Saturday. We will see what happens.

Good on ya Pastor! That is what is about for me anymore! Hunting and fishing with the grandkids.

I once said that I would never give up my motorcycle riding. Then the grandkids started coming and I lost interest in the motorcycle. Now it's something with one grandchild or another every weekend.

Good luck on the turkey hunting!

Thanks, and maybe a sidecar for a grandkid to ride in might be a good investment for you, my friend

Reminds me of Larry the Cable Guy telling of how his wife wanted him to exercise with her, so he got her an exercise bike with a side car.
