I'm still lurking around out here too. My new hip gets better every day and I got my trees tapped at the lake Sunday. Got my first batch Sap from my home tree cooking as I type. Back to the lake tomorrow to cook sap there. Boy and I were sitting by camp fire Sunday evening and heard what I'm pretty sure was a Fox yapping. Was expecting the usual coyotes talking maybe a wolf, and thought it was coyote when first started. Then after listened more, direction it was, thought nope got to be that fox we see by old sand pit.. Not something I've heard for long time from one wasn't in a trap.

Nothing like hearing fox, yotes and the hair on the neck raising wolf howls...... got trees tapped also, this Sat and Sun trees should be pouring sap....
