I went to the range today for 4 hours and I had it all to myself. Today was a .22 l.r. day with the Ruger Precision rifle, Martini Model 15,
Sig 226 conversion,Browning Hi Power conversion, Browning 1911A1, and the S&W Model 41. Somebody had given me some Federal
Lightning ammo so I shot that. The Sig andBrowning conversions didn't like it at all and for once the 1911A1 was finicky, too.
It didn't matter with the rifles or the Model 41. After shooting 200+ rds. through the Precision, it was a shock to pull the trigger
on the Martini; it was much more difficult on the single shot and the iron sights took some getting used to after using the
scope on the Ruger which is only a 2x7. All in all it was a great day.
When you're walking on eggs; don't hop!!
