I have friends who have guns and allow others to try them. I hope others enjoy this great way to shoot different guns with out the cost involved with owning them. Some of the guns I got to try , Python , Kimber K 6 , many S&W revolvers , and many others. One that stands out is the K 6 . The three inch gun. It feels like picking up a bar of soap it is so smooth . It shoots well and is compact for a 6 shot 357 mag. My favorite revolver is a S&W mod 13 or 65 either with a 3 inch bbl. The K 6 might fit that nitch . Another gun I have been shooting for 30 + years is a good friends Python it is a hunter model . It has been alot of fun . When he first got the Python I had a Colt Trooper it shot very good. I also had a mod 28 S&W . I kept the 28 for of all reasons I like the way the latch worked.
What guns have you enjoyed but not owned ?

Thompson 1927. And a BAR the owner was a class three dealer. The BAR was a jack hammer.
I liked the Thompson better.

It jerked around a lot but it was reasonably accurate with the fore grip. They were spray and pray.
Shot an M4 in Iceland, I didn't like it as well.

A lot of Freedom Arms Single Actions ... they sit right outside my reach financially, but I never say no when offered a chance. I've fired a couple custom single shot pistols in wildcats ... too $$$ for me, but they were accurate. Once upon a time I would've put a few CZs on the list, but I up and bought my own so I could stop pestering others.

I got to shoot a Ruger #1 in 220 swift. That was a sweet rifle. I got to shoot Bikerbeans siamese mauser converted to 45/70. That was an awesome rifle too. In fact I got shoot a lot of unique firearms and cartridges at the GBO shoots when the Ohio guys were hosting them in the fall and spring. If memory servers, a Ruger or CZ in 416 Rigby made its way to one of the shoots and that was pretty cool. I miss those shoots.

Ooops, sorry just realized this was in the handgun section and not a general "firearms" question.

There some really cool pistols too. I just can't remember them all. I was not really into pistols that much at that time. I am paying more attention now.

Cartridges for My Entertainment: 22lr, .223 Rem, 30-06, 380 ACP, 38 spcl, 357 mag/max, , 35 Remington, 35 Whelen, 358 Norma Mag, 10mm Auto, 45 ACP. Mmmmkay what project can I do next... oh, I can't right now I am going hunting!

I got to shoot a Barrett semi auto 50BMG an AR with a bumpfire stock and a suppressed 300 blackout on an AR platform. Other than acquaintances owning these firearms I would not have had the opportunity.

After darkness, light.
