Default Thinking on a 327 Federal Magnum

Do anyone know if a set of Hornady 32H&R dies are long enough to load the 327 case?

Im sure the seater will do fine. But more specifically is the sizer internally long enough?

I really like the ones I have. To me itís a modern 32-20. Maybe just a tad more but with a stronger case.

I havenít reloaded for it yet so donít know the answer to your question. But Iíve always liked the 32-20 and the 32 mag. Now the 327 mag. As you know you can fire all the 32 cartridges in the 327 chamber. Iíve got a SP101 loaded with 32 long Buffalo Bore wadcutter loads for inside the house. And another I keep loaded with 32 mags for outside pests. And a third I keep loaded with 327 mags for hunting larger varmits in the night.

I agree. Im a long time 32/20 guy. Way back I bantered with many here between the 32/20 & then new 300 bo!

I gave in and now have five different 300’s! :

I hadn't given this 327 much thought. I have had a couple <yawn> 32 h&r single sixes. Aside from awesome size carrying... it was a decent bunny caliber. There is no boring ballistics with this Federal magnum.

I have a couple tings up for sale. Once they sell Ill seriously look for one of these. The birds head would probably get most use. The Bisley is more practical.

I have 2 stainless single sixes in 327. A 4&5/8 & a 5&1/2Ē. Mine both have the standard SS grip. And 3 SP 101s. Hope you can get one. You will love it.

Let me offer this. RCBS dies marked 32 H&R work fine. I contacted them to verify several years ago.

If you need anyone to help talk you into a 327 fed I offer up my services.
