Default No more guns....I have enough and then.....

I walk into Brownells and my Vietnam Vet Salesman friend shows me a used 686 4 inch that was just traded in for an ortomatic something or other. It was wearing beautiful custom grips of an unknown origin. There was no cylinder drag line to speak of and it was tight as can be. Target sights, hammer and trigger all present. How much? For a few tinklings over $500 I took it home. I ain't sorry that I can't even take my own advice.

Congratulations!
That is a dandy! Old enough it doesn't have the "ignition switch" on the side?
best wishes

No it's got the key hole above the cylinder release. 686-6. Gary knows his guns and had it been a 686-4 or an early dash 5 then it would have cost me considerably more. Still a good buy so I'm happy none the less.

Happy for you, I had and miss a 68 I had at one time, it let a gap in the safe.
best wishes

You're to be commended for adopting that poor homeless gun and giving it a loving home!
