Default choked barrels / hot shot

stupid newbie question. are these as accurate as a non hotshot barrel?

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you,
Jesus Christ and the American GI.
One died for your soul; the other for your freedom.

Not in my experience, Close range off hand I doubt you could tell the difference, But from a rested hold at hunting ranges (over 25 yards) I would not use one. For its intent they are fine for close range hunting and pest management

Default hot shot

I've got a 10" hot shot barrel picked up in a trade long ago; since I had no interest in shooting the hot shot loads (assuming you can find them) I lopped off the tube to make it a "thread protector."
