Default Sierra 300 gr JSP

Got a good buy on some Sierra 300 grain JSPs. They are too long to use in my 444 Marlin so hopefully they will do well in my 14 44 Mag Contender.
Anybody using these for a hunting round in the Contender?
If so, what powder is working for you?

You can't go wrong with 2400

Only time I have used them was back before I got my Contender, and fired them out of my 5.5" SBH, using 2400. Accuracy was excellent, but they didn't expand, so I went to cast since it was just as accurate and cheaper. I would expect the increased velocity from the Contender to provide at least some expansion, but the couple deer and about a dozen hogs I took with these bullets didn't complain. Penetration was excellent, and bone didn't seem to slow them down much. I should probably get some and test in my Contender now that you reminded me of them.
