Default Velocity.. 10" vs 11.25 7mmTCU ?

If my understanding is right..
From what I remember..
One inch of Barrel length should be 25fps faster.?
My cut down super 14 contender is 11.25 inches long.
At this length, like several others.
Have said..it's much handier.

I love making shorter barrels out of S-14's. The heavier profile really makes a nice handling and holding barrel. Both of my Herretts are 10", cut down 14's.

I too like the feel..
I wasn't sure what it would be like at 11.25"..
But it's nice.
I do like the full bull profile.
Can't wait to try some of Junior 1942 loads.
That extra 1.25 inches of Barrel should help ?
I'm sure it'll be just a little bit faster than a ten incher.

Faster powders should also be a consideration for use in shorter barrels.
Here's some loads for the 7 TCU compiled by Bob Milek for DuPont circa 5/1/85
