Default "G1" frame stretch symptoms

What are the symptoms of a T/C Contender frame that has been overloaded and stretched? I have two frames and mostly use one on pistol barrels and the other on carbine barrels. I shoot the one for pistol use the most and it has been harder to open than normal lately and it is just not deadly accurate like it used to be. I have never seen the description or symptoms anywhere of how a Contender acts when it has a "stretched frame". Neither of my frames are "G2".

And also you might find one barrel has a stiffer locking lug spring.

I have to admit, I have been shooting Contenders since 1981, own 2 frames and 14 barrels, but I know nothing about the headspace. Please fill me in. THANKS
