Default New Savage Break-open Single Shot Shotgun

.

Savage introduced their new Model 301 single-shot @ the NRA meetings a few weeks ago, that looks close enough to the now-discontinued NEF/H&R Handi's, that the parts may interchange.

Hopefully, they'll develop rifle barrels for it soon.

wondering the same thing. Just saw these on the Savage website last night when I was looking for other things.

NRA Life

liberal Justice Hugo Black said, and I quote: "There are 'absolutes' in our Bill of Rights, and they were put there on purpose by men who knew what words meant and meant their prohibitions to be 'absolutes.'" End quote. From a recent article by Wayne LaPierre NRA

I believe that the new walnut Henry single shot rifles and shotguns may bury it.

There are probably a half a million used Handi rifles out there in pretty good shape. Why does everyone want a new one?

Because if the parts fit, or can be slightly modified we can keep are handi's going forever! If the barrels can be made to fit and new calibers offered, think about it!

Real trucks dont have spark plugs.

I don't see much competition between these and the new Henry SS. They're made for a totally different market. Bud's has them listed for around $140.

your 1st sentence comment answered your last sentence question.....

sea-ya.....

Out of all the things I have lost I miss my sanity almost as much as my hearing and sight.
It don't matter cause I don't mind or is it I lost that too........

with that logic, we will never see a new bolt action rifle!

I am ONLY responsible for what I say
I am NOT responsible for what you THINK I said

I bought one in 20 ga. The barrel from my old Topper 490 20 ga locked up tight and vice versa. The forearms attach different tho so you would have to transfer that over.
BONUS ... it's threaded for choke tubes!!
