You're gonna love the 7-30 Waters barrel and the 23" will offer velocities that shorter barrels won't.
About 25 FPS per inch is the general rule of thumb so you'll get 225 FPS more than this one:

Beautiful pistol you have there!

Looking forward to seeing how this 7-30 waters works out 😁

I've been given some thoughts..
I already have a super 14" 7mmTCU.
Why not thread it.. permanently glue on a sleeve?
Make it a 17" or something?
Now I'd have a short range carbine barrel..
That I know will shoot good.
Be just for plinking around with cast boolits, mostly.
And also be cheaper than buying another carbine barrel.. I'd think ?

It will be a little less with the 120 gr bullet. I use 120 and 139 gr. Like both. Wallace

I've a Leupold 4x12AO that I think I'll use.
Should shoot as good as it looks.

Well ..well..well....
Been cleaning out the back room...
Found two sets of 7mmTCU..
Hornady and Redding.
Also a set of TCU ... Hornady and RCBS..
And CANNOT find my 30-30 Dies.
Found a stash of .223 lake City ammo.
Probably a 1000 rounds..
Don't think I'll ever need more...for reloading the TCU.
Now?
Where is the 30-30 ammo ?
