Default Scope base for Encore Pro Hunter .22LR barrel

Recently picked up an Encore Pro Hunter .22LR barrel and went to put a scope base on it - only to discover that these barrels are different than the center-fire barrels I have. Instead of being round from muzzle to breech, there is a 4" or so part at the breech that is flat on top. All of the Encore bases I've seen are contoured on the bottom to fit a round barrel, and a Google search didn't turn up any that appeared to be flat on the bottom.

Where can I find the correct style of base? Or am I overthinking this and the standard base will work even though the base is contoured and the barrel is flat?

G'day , if you have no luck finding one I have a silver T/C base for the encore .22lr that I would let you have , I would prefer to trade it for a base for the centre fire encore but if you don't have one I would sell it to you .

Regards Paul .

Thanks! I believe I have one coming - at least, it's the right description and manufacturer code, we'll see what it looks like when it arrives. I may still need to take you up on your offer...
