Default Henry Rifle in 44-40

Had the opportunity to speak with a man who just got his in, got to hold it, very nicely made! Incredible wood, it was a treat.

The 44-40 was the rifle before the 30-30 came out. Unless you wanted a 45-70 class of rifle. But the 44-40 was widely used in revolvers and rifles.

Pricey ammo now, the new owner was a VERY happy man, he had wanted one for a long time and received the call it was in while he was at a training conference for work that also took him
to a bar where you drink beer and throw hatchets, so he was very 'bubbly" when he got to the
gun store.
He had all his fingers.
