Default Cheap Case Induction Annealer Experiment

Hi guys,

I thought you might be interested in an experiment I ran to determine if I could make a cheap case neck induction annealer. The experiment was not a success but you may learn something from the article which is posted at the following link.

Cool idea. Too bad it didn't work.

Just curious, are induction heating units with a larger diameter available for similar prices...

Have never been comfortable with torch and gas powered furnaces... but do like the idea of induction.

But it would take more diameter I would think, to repeatedly heat something one was hammering out... say a knife, or even a scelp for a black powder barrel.

Though I imagine the electricity costs must be awfully high.
