Default Anschutz rifle

Last week somebody came into the local gunshop with an Anschutz 1418 .22 rifle w/3 mags, a Leopold scope and a mannlicher stock.
He was leaving town and needed cash. The store owner didn't offer enough money, so I bought it. It comes home next week and
I'm looking forward to taking it to the range and shooting it. According to the factory target the rifle was made in 1983.

It will probably shoot like a house on fire! Anschutz does not make a bad rifle. That’s a 64 repeater action in a really nice stock. Rare I think. Good find! Have two Annie’s, love both. We need pics!!

Finally got to shoot the 1418 last Saturday. The only downside is that the magazine only holds 5 rds. and 5 shots goes pretty quick when the rifle
is as accurate as this one is. It's a real pleasure to shoot and the trigger is smooth and light. All shooting was done at 25 yds. Next time
I'll have to try shooting at 100 yds. This one is a keeper.

Took the Anschutz to the range today. I used all three magazines for the 1st time. Both of the 5's and the 10 rounder functioned flawlessly.
As much as I enjoyed the Anschutz, I enjoyed shooting my BSA 12/15 even more. For some reason I enjoy shooting my single shots more
than the repeaters.
