Default Hercules shorty

Here is what my Hercules Model 1929 looks like. Got it cheap because the muzzle was buggered up. I cut it, added a sling and flashlight and had the chamber lengthened to 3".
Did something wrong so I have two pictures.

Looks good. If memory serves me correct Hercules was a house brand of Montgomery Wards and these singles were made by both J. Stevens Arms and Iver Johnson.

Looks to me like yours may be one of those made by Iver Johnson? Well made guns.

Well, I'll try again. Here are some more: A Pardner with a Stacker I barrel 12 ga), Remington 870 with sights (12 ga), and the Hercules shorty (.410).
Looks like I can't add any more pictures. Strange system.

Talking

that for arm makes me think it is a Ivers Johnson also. Had one (Ivers Johnson) when I was a kid in 410 44lug in one stamped on the barrel.
So what are you hunting with it that you have a flash lite mounted to the barrel?

Just put the pictures on a photo bucket account and you can post a bunch here. Examples!!!!!

Ruger 77 tang safety 220 swift, home built sun shade.

Savage 93F, 22mag.

Remington 700 54 cal. muzzle loader.

Not hunting anything. I met a black bear outside by the cabin awhile back and a week or so ago a neighbor saw a bob cat in his front yard. Anyway, I just wanted it that way is the real reason.

I still keep that 410 by the front door. Heard someone in town (17 miles away) say they saw a cougar cross the street while on their way to the store.

Iíve got lights mounted on a AR and one shotgun as well as a Glock 19 that sleeps in my hand at night.

For the curious I have them mounted on my guns in case I need to go to the bathroom during the night. Iím scared of the dark.

pastorp, I can't claim that since we have a two room cabin and most of the electronics are in the bedroom (hence it is not dark) and it's only one step from the bedroom to the bathroom. As I said in an earlier post here the real reason I do it is I feel like it and I can.

A two room cabin? We've talked about that somewhere along the Red River up above the flood plain.
How's that work for you?
