Default Benelli .223

A little over a week ago I walked into the local gun store and he had a Benelli MR1 .223 rifle.
There was an Eotech sight on the back of it and it came with over 1500 rds. of ammo. I
couldn't resist and snapped it up. The 10 day wait is over on Friday. Looking forward to going
to the range and trying it out.

I made it to the range yesterday and the Benelli was one of the rifles I took. I ran about 100 rds. through it. The Eotech
holo sight is more of a 50 yard sight. I hit a couple of gongs at 100 yds. but without magnification there wasn't much
consistency or accuracy. I looked at scope mounts on the web today and the Eotech is gonna be replaced with a proper
scope. There were no hiccups and the rifle functioned flawlessly.

I ordered a Weaver Cantilever scope mount for the Benelli. It arrived on Thursday. I took off the Eotech, put the Weaver
on and mounted a Leopold 4x-12x scope on it. I hope to get to the range in the next couple of weeks to start sighting
it in.
