Default A Question for you AR15 SBR Form 1 Guys

If you Form 1 for an AR 15 (or any switch barrel platform) in an SBR configuration can you still change out the upper to a standard carbine or rifle upper shot it and then switch it back to the SBR upper if you so desire without violating the law? (Granting you live in a free state like Indiana)

I guess what I am asking is what does the Form 1 control the barreled upper or is it tied to explicitly to the receiver?

I am thinking about a possible project and that always seems to get me in trouble in one way or another.

Cartridges for My Entertainment: 22lr, .223 Rem, 30-06, 380 ACP, 38 spcl, 357 mag/max, , 35 Remington, 35 Whelen, 358 Norma Mag, 10mm Auto, 45 ACP. Mmmmkay what project can I do next... oh, I can't right now I am going hunting!

ATF wants to be notified of permanent changes. At least that’s what I was told when I asked them the same thing about mine. If it’s not a permanent change, you can swap barrel lengths/uppers/calibers/etc and it’s not an issue.
