...An old communist tactic..commies against free people. The aim..take their freedoms away.

1. Cause such a ruckus with/about free people

2. Go into discussion..about a freedom. Try to take a whole branch of freedom away.

3. After along discussion.. free people surrender a small part of their freedom.

4. Note; commies have given up nothing.

5. Commies take what concessions they gained...they will come back later for more

6. Meanwhile, other communists in other places are already at work, trying to chip away at other freedoms

Deceit, the only way communists/socialists operate..

Before the shot heard round the world was fired, the houses of parliament told King George that his colonial government was concerned for the safety and well being of innocent subjects, due to the presence of a rebellious faction in Massachusetts. They claimed that they were ready and willing to listen to any "real grievance" from those discontent with colonial laws ... but for the safety and security of all, ALL military grade weapons and ammunition (not just those in the hands of rebels) should be secured. And so we had the Battles of Lexington and Concord.

Every infringement of basic liberty is done under the guise of safety and security, until liberty no longer exists. I find it ironic that the critical minority republican vote was wooed to capitulate over taxing corporations for education. Its a different kind of republican they have their Oregon; we would've called them Democrats once upon a time.

"When a politician says "you don't need a gun".. friend, you need a gun"!

If anyone doubts it, they can ask the people of Venezuela...….

The first paragraph is a FACT. unfortunately though, most Americans were taught it was just about taxes & such.

Too many Americans do not know the true history of our founding & are unable to see the attempts to undermine & subvert the ideas that are so important to us in the US Constitution & the Bill of Rights included therein.

I am concerned that it will be part of the downfall of this nation that folks have grown so apathetic & ignorant of what was once an important part of an Americans education.

Patriots & those who are well informed are dying every day, and, IMO, are not being replaced with the same type of people to prevent the USA from turning into a cesspool like the places so many that come here to escape from those other cesspools.

2nd Amend./U.S. Const. - "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

They can pass gas for all I care. Those of us in Southern Oregon are not going to give up our rights guaranteed by the Constitution to draconian laws passed by Liberal Democrats and Republicans in Salem.Even some our Sheriffs say this law is unconstitutional and they will not enforce it. Many other sheriffs in other states like Colorado have taken it up. The line is being drawn here and across the nation it would appear.

I don't think of myself as a staunch Republican or Democrat.
I am a Christian and a Conservative...........In that order!

Here in NY State, we have Cuomo's ridiculous "safe act"..something like 52 county sheriffs out of 62 counties are rejecting his goofy act !

NY's disdain for Federal peaceable journey laws would've constituted an infringement under interstate commerce at one point, as the only way to pass between NE and CONUS is through NY. I'm sincerely concerned about it as I PCS to RI.

And the day is coming when you cannot travel to the Pacific from the east with a firearm; you'll have to leave them at the border in AZ, NV, UT, ID.

As an active duty military member, I am running out of places I can safely bring firearms with my household goods, and fewer bases are allowing them to be stored in on base housing ... for a population entrusted to bear arms in defense of the nation, that is illogical. But our congresscritters treat our military like a public school population, and wrap them in behavioral health professionals, medications, and remove all unsafe objects, eventhough our role is inherently unsafe.

I believe the folks who live in 2A honoring states really do not understand that laws passed in other states will and do effect them, and that recommending someone move is unhelpful. There will come a day when there is no where to move, because when they passed a law in OR we laughed, and in CA we laughed, and in WA we laughed, and in IL, we laughed, and in NY we laughed ... but then they passed it in FL, TX, AZ, NV and there was no one left to tell us to move and no where left to move.
