I've never been in a Cracker Barrel. I didn't know that they had restaurants. Must be a southern thing.
I think the closest thing we have to that would be McAlisters.

There is one on Milwaukee in Lubbock just north of the intersection with the Brownfield highway. I ignore it in favor of Rosa's which is just to the south of it.

I'll be over there tomorrow for some light cancer surgery and probably stop in Rosa's again on the way home.

I like the cracker barrel their hot beef sandwich and mashed potatoes is what I like but around here you have a wait time of at least 20 minutes guess that is why they have the rocking chairs on the porch.

I thought you guys had a Rosa's over there? Ours is on S Richardson but we hardly ever go there.
One time when we did the tacos were soggy and the refried beans were cold.

I am not sure how long they have been in Minnesota but checked and we have one here, so I will have to go give it a look-see.
I think, when I was youth we had some but I am not sure.
Restaurant chains come and go and come again and go again in Minn. very often.

I probably should not say I will go there as in the past decade the place usually closes just before I get there or as happened twice in the past five years, burns down.

I miss the day when I could buy 2 breakfasts and split it up between me, wife and two kids. Now weíre up to three and everything is eaten. Pretty soon we will be at 4. I get the country boy and put butter and syrup in the grits and the kids make short work of it... Most people donít know you can get all the extra biscuits and cornbread you want with your meal if it comes with it... That pure Marion black raspberry jellie on a buttered biscuit is something to brag about, I donít care how full you are itís delicious...

I love my Fish & Chips with tartar sauce for the fish & ketchup for the taters. They usually include a lemon slice with the meal and I squeeze that into the tartar sauce. Mmmm, tangy.

When you're walking on eggs; don't hop!!

I like the malt vinegar . Love fish and chips. Had some in Selkirk MB made from white fish very tasty.
When I was a kid people would make blood pudding. From what I could find out it started when salt was not available. Blood has alot of salt and that was a way to get it.
