Default Bistecca , as they say in Italy.

Now these may be the largest bucks-up places but there are plenty with two pound steaks in Minn. and Wisc.
That last Prime Rib, if that is flame broiled , I would get it, take it home and eat if for a week.

28 ounces is a small roast where I come from. I bet that I'd eat on it until it was gone and it would most likely take me a few days too.

i saw a television program where they were at some
place in italy eating great big steaks, and the inside
was bloody and raw.

The United States doesn't have a gun control problem.
We have a people control problem.

Mine have to be done. I usually order them well done and expect them to come a little pink and most often it does. Pink is fine.....dripping blood is for vampires! No thanks.

You guys apparently don’t know any Italians... Or have not shared many meals with them and I’m talking about straight from Italy Italians not the garden variety type Guido’s. And I thought I could eat anything...

I saw probably the same one last week on PBS.I know a lot of people in the U.S. of A. who eat it the same way, including my one cousin.
I usually order medium well as most cooks, and chefs , fail to cook a steak well done without screwing it up.
I did read last year, that most send it out possibly under-cooked, as it can be sent back and cooked longer but can never be uncooked.

I'm one of those guys who eat to live, rather than live to eat..especially where meat is concerned.

It makes no difference to me if it is sirloin steak or tube steak..but it better be THOROUGHLY COOKED !
