FB and Twitter has harmed the forums. Due to there structure. Little pockets of little groups of friends who can clan up all they want. Conan, I know who you are referring to, but who attacked who first?
With faulse accusations like you did here. Yet you continue to to blame that one member for
your own self exit. Seeking symphony. As a last resort.

As I have said before, not just this site, but many forums are molasses slow now.

I am on one gardening forum that once had many threads with frequent posting but there, posters migrated to certain threads only so some just sit there with rare posting.
I joined that one three years ago, and it is amazing how drastically things can change in just three years and they do not allow political or religious threads.
Facebutt is blamed often on other sites.

Bob I believe that. FB is really messed up technically. You say anything bad about Islam you are put on suspension.

If you assume that you know the truth and attack another member because they defend themselves saying that you are wrong. Then you disappear for awhile saying their defence offended you is why you left the site. Then it is you who are very thin skinned. And using that as an excuse.

I know in my own case, I spent a lot of my life reloading and all that goes with it. I even had an ammo mfg. license and mfg'ed new ammo, but I just plain got burned out!! I reload very little now days, as I had a pile of hunting ammo reloaded and I'm still hunting with it...

Also I got older too and that caused me to not care to answer the same questions over and over. I also let post with gun/reloading mis-information go by, something I NEVER did when I was younger...

Some times posters say some really stupid stuff and I'll stick with it, sometimes I don't, my guess is, many guys getting older feel the same way I do.

I'm also finding that many groups have moved to FB, and that's a place I just won't go to... I REALLY miss the wood working forum I loved so much, and it moved there... I just have NO use for FB!

Well I posted this hoping Herr Librarian would send us a post, possibly on food.

He responded saying why he left, but it was worth a shot.

Thin skinned? Maybe the poster is thick skinned and sees no reason to fight about it.

Lol! I've had 2 or 3 on this website ask me to leave.
Nobody of any importance though. Yet! 🤣
