Default Mule slop. Mmm boy...

1 avocado. Equal amounts of salsa (you pick the heat level). Add sour cream. Salt and pepper. Add onion if you like. I do. Stir and enjoy.

Not an avocado fan, and the only thing I can eat sour cream on is a baked potato. My oldest son like to put both guacamole and sour cream on his tacos, I refer to this as a taco with snot and calf scours

Avacados get turned into guacamole quite often around here but sour cream doesn't enter this house. My wife literally hates the stuff and I'm not a big fan of it either.

Sounds good Mule! Personally I'm down to just adding lime and sea salt to the avocado before whipping it into guacamole. I keep the pico de gallo separate until they meet up on the carnitas or carne asada or pollo asado.

I just chunk up the avocado instead of mashing like for guacamole... and as teamnelson said. Lime or lemon go well with this also as you can back off somewhat on the salt and it keeps the avocado from turning color.

Now this is me don't wont to start a fight and every one has different taste and I under stand that but for the life of me I can never understand why people wont to ruin good TexMex with sour cream every time I go to a Tex mex fast food I have to say no sour cream please. I can never understand why you ad hot sauce and then kill the taste with sour cream. I do like it on baked potatoes though.

It adds the same bite to Tex-Mex it adds to baked potatoes.
I find, for potato flavor a bake potato with LOTS of butter is better than adding sour cream.
I rarely add sour cream to burritos but nachos without it are not as good.

I have noticed that all brands of sour cream are not equal. Even the best ones are not always welcome on my plate on a given day. Some days I want it or think I do and some days I donít... Meal tonight was Doritos with taco meat melted cheese onions and olives with sour cream. Mmm boy was it good...
