Up until my mid 20's I had oatmeal for breakfast everyday. Now I rarely touch it. But I do give it a go once a year to see if tastes any better. So far I'm holding out. Needs a lot of brown sugar and butter to make it palatable. 😝
I have a bowl of oat meal for breakfast at least 4 to 5 times a week and have for year, sometimes I put a banana in it sometimes some raisins sometimes I use honey for sweetener.
Steel cut oats with honey and butter and a slice of whole grain toast makes a good breakfast. You can add fruit if you like.
