I just picked up a compact version, have only tried a few types of factory ammo, no handloads through it but it shoots good.

With a 4x Leupold I had knocking about it held right at 1-2" at 100. This was just random ammo that the local big box had in stock, all subsonic.

Would really like to start casting for this round/rifle and see how accurate it can be, has the 1:7 barrel so that should help.

bullet that works extreamly well in my ars supersonic is the rcbs 130 spitzer gas check. Cast HARD and pc'd it will do 1.5-2 inch 5 shot groups at a 100 yards out of my 16 inch gun and at least that good at 50 out of my 8.5 and 7 inch pistols with red dots. That was with very little load development. As a matter of fact it was the first load I tried. Tried a couple others loads afterward and they all shot about the same. I haven't fooled with size either. I size them all to 309 so they run well in an ar. Shot my buddys American the other day with subsonic (lee mold) 230s (I believe) with a suppressor on it and it was cool to hear that little pop then here that bullet hit steel 300 yards away. Through the spotting scope you could see the vapor trail of the bullet all the way to the target.

Interesting, thanks.

I have been reloading for years but new to casting, I'd love to see a 200 grain bullet in wheel weight/soft lead with a flat nose and a giant hollow point- seems like it would be perfect for this round.

Yep, i have it is an incredibly accurate rifle, as in half inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards with my preferred supersonic hunting load.(handload) However the plastic mags leave a little to be desired as far as quality and sometimes it has some feeding hiccups, but for this level of accuracy this rifle provides me in a light compact platform it is a bunch of fun to shoot. Gonna try and get a deer with it this fall maybe

I have had one since they came out Lloyd. Its a definite favorite of mine. Shoot way better than it has a right to for a 400$ rifle.

It shoots supers flawlessly. Sub jacketed so so but I didnt try real hard. As for cast. Never had one shoot it well enough esp compared to jacket supers.
