Couldn't wait to get this rifle the first part of the year. Raved reviews!

Mine? Nuthin but problem s feeding the last 2 rounds.

The first 10 rounds feed great, and then, the 11th round stands straight up jamming the bolt.
For jamming on the 12th round, "its reliable" with 4 new OEM Glock magazines, and also the 15 round Ruger mag that came with it.

I've done all I know to do, it's weird. No matter the brand of ammo, or the bullet configuration, or the magazine, round #11 stands at attention.

Called the Ruger folks and the girl was helpfull but over her head.

She wanted me to send them the rifle. I told her I was a gunsmith and if I was gonna have to go to the trouble of sending it off, I'd just sell it, and buy something else.

She put me on hold, talked to a Ruger Smith and she is sending me parts that should according to him clear up the issue.

Can't complain about the service if I get the parts, and they work.

do you mean it doesn't do it with factory glock mags. If so what mags are giving you problems? If it any of the high capacity bargain mags on the market and by bargain I mean anything but a glock or pmag then toss those mags in the garbage. I learned with my 9mm ar15 and was reeducated with this micro roni project that you might as well light your money on fire as by those imported mags. I even talked to pmag and they said they wont even make a 40 mag because all there attempts have failed. So for the 40s its glock or nothing.

I hope you get it sorted out. My 9mm has been perfectly reliable with 10, 15, and 17 round Glock and P-Mags, and several types of ammo. I have two 33 round mags but not tried those yet.

357 Mag camo syn stock, 30/30 cinnamon lam checkered straight grip stock, 20 ga USH camo syn stock, 20 ga Topper Jr 490 cut to 21.5" and Rem Chokes, 357 Rem Max nickel Topper 88 .410 stock.

Well, this one is a pleasure to shoot for 10 rounds runnin either Glock, or Ruger magazines.
The interchangeable magazine wells seem to hold the magazines a little loosely so I'm thinking that could be the issue, or the bolt spring could be a little too stout as the magazines start emptying out, and spring tension lessons.
They say the parts their sending should do the trick, but we'll see.
I've read 1 bad review on the rifle for the same basic issue, the rest are like yours.
Like the rifle but don't trust it right now, and I specifically bought for a defense gun.

PROBLEM WITH PC40 FINALLY SOLVED!

Traded that POS for a SIG AR15.

Shocked!!! The SIG doesn't jam.🤗

I like Ruger for certain guns. But my Pistol Caliber Carbines are all Hipoint, and there is a good reason for that.

Interests wide and widely varying.
Happily married 18 years. Retired on SS with lots of time to spend.
Started with .223 Ultra Bull barrel. Added .357 Talo barrel. Added an action and stock set bought here, 7.62x39 barrel. Then bought complete guns .444 Marlin and .300 Blackout. Leaving me at 4 complete rifles plus a barrel. Plus a 9mm stub job bought here, and I have been finding and buying H&R shotguns at our local pawn shop where they seem to go cheap.

Ruger couldn't have been nicer, so my complaint wasn't on service.
This particular rifle had issues, which caused me to have trust issues.

I bought the rifle for defense at home, and travel.

ARs are getting scarce down here, so I decided to get what I know works.

Its been probably 10 years or more since I owned an AR, and I was impressed with the SIG version.

Yep, got 3 of them and way cheaper than Ruger. The 40 and 10mm have always been flawless. Seems like the 45 has hung up on feeding after it got dirty. I would defend my life with the 40 or 10mm. And they are incredibly accurate. Have shot 3" groups with irons with the 40 when my vision was better. At 50 yards, it shoots 1 hole groups.

You know, different manufacturers excel in different categories.

You want a single action revolver, Ruger is the choice.
DA revolvers, S&W is the way to go.
All metal semi-autos, S&W and Sig made/make some of the best.
Polymer guns, Glocks are the pack leader (even though I don't like them) and the M&P is a great option.
Pistol caliber carbine, I think Hi-point is the way to go.

Of course hard to go wrong with a 1911, even some of the foreign made ones are excellent. Only lemon I have seen was the LLAMA.
