can't do better than that!
i probably mowed over several hundred
of those this year alone. never knew that's
what it was. might ought to get a basket and
put some of that up to sell or trade instead
of just mowing it over.

I found some on my hunting lease this November, ripe for the harvest. I got a lot of it. It is a delicate smoke, but is best when mixed with real tobacco. I sure wish I'd got a photo, because I don't think any of you know what the **** I'm referring to.

What justashooter shows is what I call rabbit tobacco. Smoked and chewed a bunch of it.
What bugflipper shows is what I call mullein, when it grows tall and dries out the stalk makes one of the best bow drill spindles.
Both are supposed to have medismal uses according to the old folks.
Eat, chew, smoke and brew at your own risk.
