The other day I was in Wally World and noticed the F4 on rollback. A nice young fellow started a conversation with me and said he was an avid air gunner. He said the F4 has the same nitrogen pistion as more expensive Crosman-Benjamin models. (He was down on Gamo for QC issues). He said the F4 is hard hitting and finished well; and went on to explain how the cheap scope will break and about the lousy trigger. But said the trigger can be remedied by looking online for the screw or bearing fix, or the after market Charlie The Tuner trigger.
So I walked out of the store with a new F4 in hope of taking care of various vermin issues.
The F4 has proven to be all the young fellow said, including the long heavy trigger pull. Cheap scope is holding up so far. It will be very accurate once the trigger is addressed. $79 for a nitrogen piston rifle and I'm a happy camper.
Problem is its punching holes in the pellet trap I've had for years! 🤔🙄🤔
