Jim,

I really appreciate the offer, but the scope has a unique "dovetail" on the bottom that is gripped by the base, so regular "Weaver" rings won't work. Maybe another member can use one.

Thanks again,

Bill

What was wrong with the one htiek13 had? Is that the type, just wrong model? I have one at home I can check tonight. Are the model numbers on the mounts?

Yes that is the right type just a different hole pattern I guess. They made them for a variety of guns. I don't know if the numbers are on the individual bases. I do know the Contender (and apparently the other rifles) base is flat on the bottom unlike the pistol bases which have a lip for recoil.
Thanks for looking

Bill,
I?m embarrassed to say that I must have sold the base sometime earlier. My scope mount drawer has all kinds of parts but not the one I was looking for. If I squint really hard, I can vaguely remember talking to someone else about it a while back but I didn?t think they took it. Guess I was wrong. Sorry.

Here's some pics for you. The two screws do not line up with the scope holes. These are for cobtenders just different sizes. They are not for sale. Just trying to help

I need one too. Hate to piggy back on someone else's post. I picked up one of the Bushnell Phantoms years ago at a gun show and never found a mount for it to go on a contender. I didn't realize it needed a special mount until I got home.

Anyone else got one for a good price they can help me out with?

Thanks,

Rosewood
