The gun has only been fired about 15 to 20 rounds in the 45 colt, and about 15 times with the 410 shells.

That does not answer my question. Can you post a close photo of the frame side view so one can tell if it is an easy open frame?

He probably does not understand there is a difference in the original frame vs the easy open one. It is the different position of the bolt release pivot pin which is actuated by the trigger guard. The original is located forward on the trigger guard and the easy open is located center of the trigger.

There is a small pin in the middle of the trigger.

The 1st one I bought was not an easy open. I didn't know the difference. Had I known the difference, I would have passed on it and waited for an easy open to come along. Gonna trade it away one day...
