Welcome to the GBO Forums. BP and I collided in the form of a brass Napoleon replica cannon and at that time a 16 y.o. boy who liked to hear things go BOOM in a big way.

....well, except for occasional MZ hunting tag, perhaps the closest I get to BP these days(so far) is keeping a few pounds of TB around for centerfire. No cannon work here(again so far), Grin.

Just didnt wanna put forward an inaccurate notion out there. Ha! Anyway, was in my early teens when got my first firearm, in 44 roundball. Heavy goose shotshell loading after that, then finally centerfire presses etc.

Like to cook but wife is better, I tinker some & with shortwave radio, do some gun dog work keeping me loose. Have 22 yr & a 2 yr old ram trucks but like Ford & Chevy too. Spent alot of time growing up around deep woods/swamps of east Texas plus hill country & plains. Now live around both mountains & high plains further North from Texas. Have lived in far North Montana, Virginia, Florida before.

Thanks for welcome. God bless America and All.

Started with match heads in about 76. Progressed right up through every manner of dangerous hand cannon and er pipebomb I could imagine. About 78 Santa saw fit to get me out of the terrorist pipeline with a CVA rifle kit.

Took 25 years of serious bow hunting and a fairly serious shoulder injury to bring me into the 20th century. So, where was I going with this?

Welcome

Glad to see I wasn't the only one ! match heads stuffed in an empty co2 cylinder what a great rocket engine!! the last one blew up the launch pad, but not before sending one through the garage both walls and an old tv set had neat holes in them, I was so surprised the tv tube did not shatter just a hole front and back. Oh to be 12-14 again what a great time to be a kid 1971 was a great year to figure out what the world held, And I thought it was boring then, What did I know, NO cell phones no video games, just PLAY!! with DUMB stuff !!

and yes by the way, WELCOME
