I figured that but your work always deserves a WOW.

Just so there is no confusion, every single gun barrel you see in my picture is made out of wood on my lathe.

No concrete ones?

At 270 lbs. each, concrete guns are outside.

DD,

Would it be possible to take some close up photos of the 5th and 6th guns from the left on the top of the book shelves. IOWs the last two guns on the left set of bookshelves. These look very interesting amongst a very nice collection!

NorthWoodNeil,

Great videos, please post some more.

Micheal, do those concrete ones come out of the forms that nice, or is there some sort of post forming work done? They look very nice and smooth. That is why I ask.

A pic of the form would be interesting too if you have time.. Thanks

Bruce,
They come out of the mold with a few pockets and rough places that are easily fixed with grout.

Micheal, who are the main people you make those concrete barrels for? Homeowners, theme parks, movie sets, restaurants? If it's none of my business I understand. They look real good.

...
How much do they weigh?

I don't often bare my soul, it's ugly and tends to frighten people.

Mostly homeowners who put them in their front yards.
The barrel weighs 270 lbs. and the carriage about 150 lbs. depending on the density of the wood.
