Default New here, looking for info on Coston Signal info

Hello Everyone, I'm looking for info from owners/experts on recent purchase of what I believe to be an authentic Coston line thrower or signal gun. Hunting for safe operating instructions, percussion cap type/sources, serial # ID, etc, etc, etc.
Thanks in advance!
John
