Well done Dom , a segmented built up breach is the most reasonable method of building a interrupted threaded breach that I can think of. You demonstrate mastery of the hand grinder also. A full functioning breach can be made if design taken a little further.

Thanks for showing how you made the breech block, Dom. Now everyone knows why you are our go-to guy if we are thinking about any sort of fabrication, what-so-ever!!

Guys, thanks for the compliments! I'll have more done on it later this week. Moose, I believe you're right. A breech can be made using this method that would handle a projectile charge. This one is being made to handle a light salute charge. Mike & Tracy, I am honored to be your go to fabrication guy. Dom
