Good choice letting it go, I prefer the 2-6lb range as eaters. Give us the full story, interested to know your bait of choice, method, etc. Also welcome to GBO.

I'm assuming flathead, in that case I would have kept it! **** good eating and way better than channel cats. Great catch either way!
