Default Spook Light

My 19 year old son saw his first what I call a spook light while bass fishing in our hunting club. It's a medium size ball of light that comes through the woods dodging the trees and kind of just hovers for a while and then goes up for a few seconds and gets bright and goes away. I've been fortunate to have seen quite of them back in the mid 1970's and thought it was pretty cool. But it terrified my boy, and him and his friends went speeding away. I told him not worry, if something like this wanted to harm you it would. He said it was about a hundred yards away and did not make any sound which kinda ruled out a drone and I don't know any drone that could dodge the amount of trees that I have observed.

i think they are a natural phenomenon , nothing supernatural about it, or not aliens or time portals either
but they are very unsettling when you do see them

like the northern lights or auroras

i have two stories i could share, but they are lengthy stories.
but i saw the lights in the woods behind my house and saw they over a lake at my cabin house

i think they are water / ozone / methane gas related

This must be true. In other places where they have been seen they are called Orbs. Indignant people's call them the spirits of the dead.

sure, as science develops in any given topic, we know more and more about the world around us, and the area of the supernatural gets smaller and smaller .. superstitions, myths, legends and the unknown realm gives way to understanding and facts.
