History Reproduction set of dueling pistols used in the Alexander Hamilton--Aaron Burr duel in 1804. Copied from the original set currently on display at the HQ of J.P. Morgan Chase financial in New York. Released in a special run of 1200 cased pairs in 1976. The originals were made in the late 18th century some time after 1785 by Robert Wogdon in England,

Commissioned by John Church an Englishman who moved to America and became Hamilton's brother-in-law.
