The thermometer got above freezing today, so I loaded up my new Henry 243 and headed for the range. 100 grain Hornady interlock and h4350. I was high to start and I got it dialed in at 25. I moved back to 50 yards off a rest. The first two were about an inch low. One adjustment and the rest is 6 shots. I am happy
Started experimenting looking a lighter recoil. This is 30.0 of 2400 under a 300 gr Rem hp at 50 yards. Need to chrony them but should be around 1700 fps. A good start me thinks. Not sure why the pic turned on it's side. All the taped holes were from my new Maxi and should be at the top...
I looked at a 243 youth model today fit me just fine. They came down to $375.00 just wondering if that average or what. If that's a good price may go back and get it, he said they have had it awhile.
