flmason Cool idea. Too bad it didn't work.

Just curious, are induction heating units with a larger diameter available for similar prices...

Have never been comfortable with torch and gas powered furnaces... but do like the idea of induction.

But it would take more diameter I would think, to repeatedly heat something one was hammering out... say a knife, or even a scelp for a black powder barrel.

Though I imagine the electricity costs must be awfully high.

Cheap Case Induction Annealer Experiment
