Hereís to hammers!

Thereís always Sig, or for the discerning gent, CZ. But if itís 1911 or nothing, you wonít be happy til you have a micro.

geezerbiker First off, I am a M1911 type guy but as I get older, carrying a full sized M1911 is getting heavy. I'm figuring it'll take me 6 to 8 months to save up the almost $600 for it. It's either the Micro( or an officers model M1911. I just don't see myself carrying a striker fired DA only gun...

I was just trying to help...talk you out of it I mean.

Besides, I read on the internet that self defense couldn't be accomplished with anything less than a forty caliber.

burntmuch Nice gun. Woulda bought one ,but went with the SIG P938. The kimber is about $100 cheaper. Bad timing on my part.

Not quite, a Garden Gun is actually a Winchester Model 36 in 9MM rimfire shotshell - I have one, currently in the custody of my grandson, who is protecting his mother's garden/flowers.

As to the Kimber - nice firearm, I take it, you're not a 1911 type guy?
