littlecanoe Christian Bookstore Employee Tasked With Rotating Out Expired Prophecy Books

MOBILE, AL—New LifeWay Christian Stores employee Aimee Bryer was tasked with rotating out last week's prophetic books and replacing them with a fresh, just-off-the-truck shipment, sources confirmed Friday.

"You see how this one claims President Obama is the antichrist? That's how you know it's expired," store manager Traci Mann was overheard telling the newly hired retail clerk as she tossed the book into a garbage can. "Oh wow, this one with Saddam Hussein on the cover has been rotting here behind the others for years. Definitely a tosser."

"See here, this one was published just last month and identifies President Trump as one of the two witnesses in the book of Revelation. Sure, it's a little old, but we can rotate it up to the front and hopefully sell it before it goes bad in a week or two," she added.

Combing through the store's sprawling prophetic book section, the clerk then carefully checked each book for signs of rot and decay, pulled books that didn't make the cut, and replaced them with just-printed books on the cutting edge of Bible prophecy.

"We at LifeWay want to make sure we're only ever selling you fresh, wholesome prophecy. That's why we train our new employees to look for signs of expired prophetic books and put out piping hot prophecy each morning," the manager told reporters.

“At publishing time, sources had confirmed the bookstore employee had tossed every John Hagee book the store had, only to replace them with "at least" a dozen more fresh off the truck.“

littlecanoe Bob

I have a rule. I don’t watch anything on TBN. Not even for research purposes. The only way I see any of their broadcasts is if I am in a home where that is on TV. To date this method has worked well and kept me from hearing very bad Biblical teaching.

ironglow Whatever you guys do, don't call in SWB.. WE have no need of whatever the Larry's Witnesses have to say.

A few years ago, a friend was asked...…...."Are you a Jehovah's Witness?"

My friend didn't hesitate, when he replied...

"Jehovah's witness..shucks no..I didn't even see the accident" !

Bob Riebe While checking on Johnson the preacher in GS latest video (he is one of the mystic type preachers but I see that some of the criticism against him borders picking nits) I found a video on Copeland from Channel 8 news that says more about Copeland's attitude than any other I have seen.
They interviewed people who had worked for him and said what you see on TV is far, far different from the arrogant preacher who near never speaks to any one who works for him.
Self-centered, hypocritical ass is the best word.
I had considered going down there and applying for the grounds keeper jobs that was open on his web site for several years but reading the Christian requirements made me change my mind.
It was about this time Beleiver's Voice of Victory was no longer on my regular viewing list, though I still do say his one-half hour shows preach better than most church preachers around here; sad it is mostly bs as far as the preachers personality.

littlecanoe I don’t know BE. Is he a “name only” Christian or does he have the goods like Crazy-Eyes Ken?

bugeye I think it takes a "TV" preacher to heal over the internet.
Call Peter Popoff, he'll fix you right up.
