Received my old Model 7 back today with new xmark pro trigger and all I can say is it's very good so far.
Easy to adjust with a small hex screw. It measured 5 lbs at first. Backed the single screw out and kept checking the pull until it measured 3 lb. Tested with slamming the bolt home and no trigger release. Dropped a little blue loctite around the outer edge of the screw, reassembled and let it sit a few hours.
Tested 10 times after setting up and all pulls measured in the range of 2 lbs 10 oz to 3 lbs 2 oz. No creep or overtravel so all is good.
Will take it out in a few weeks when I have more freetime to see how it shoots but it is better than before. And no worries about an unintended discharge.

Yup X Mark Pro is what they are using on current production and to replace the Walker. I have experience with the X Mark pro which you asked about, the Walker and also with the X Mark before it was a pro.
Sadly the X Mark before it became the pro was a really nice trigger and then they went and messed it up with the Pro edition.
I have hands on experience with all three.

|Hudge||I believe they are giving you the X-Mark Pro Trigger. My experience with them are horrible. The one I had broke, I have since upgraded all of mine to Timney triggers.|

|Lt. Dave||Thanks GB but I'm asking for experience from those who've already done the swap. Obviously the rifle is already in the mail and I have decided to do the recall.|

|Graybeard||I'd sure not give up any of my Walker triggers for the new Remington trigger. My personal experience with the new ones is they are junk, the Walker trigger has nothing wrong with it other than the shade tree gunsmith's who monkey with them and don't know what they are doing.|

Walker Trigger Recall
Anyone sent their rifle in? What trigger are they installing? Happy with the new trigger? Any unforeseen issues?
Just sent my Model 7 in for the free swap. Hopefully new trigger is ok. Original was not bad after adjustments but I don't want to take any chances. Especially if my son or grandson inherit the rifle.
