Correct you are, Mule. It certainly believe that at least 3/4ths of democrat voters have a specific malady called the "GIMMEDATS".

After all, that is how the Dems lock down their base..by promising free medical, free nookie, free lottery tickets, free education, free groceries...and free everything else..

Doesn't matter that they can never follow through...it's what they promise that counts..

ironglow More likely why they don't like Pres Trump, is because he is no globalist..ready to lead free Americans down the red brick road to a communist, one-world state...

Which would be a state where people are treated like cattle and from which nobody could escape while still alive..

Mule 11 The real reason the libs don’t want the wall. Because we want it. They hate US and what we stand for. No amount of reason will ever sway them so why bother with them? Why discuss anything with them? You can put holes in all there arguments and they will come back with the same lame argument again. We know the wall or barrier needs to be built AND SO DO THEY... Same reason we lock our doors at night. Gives us time to react when they break in. The wall will buy time for response and they all know it.

One columnist described the situation as "abysmal" and she is certainly right. There was a process in place that was showing results as everything was worse than what I listed before it was started. Now we have a new state government and that process has been scrapped and we are starting over and the new thing is to throw more money at the problem like has been done for years before the last administration. No more teacher accountability and it wasn't much before but the outcry from the teacher's unions has been fierce against teacher testing. The major problem is getting kids wanting to learn of course but they and the taxpayers are getting scant return on their dollars. The schools are heavy on administrators and fleets of vehicles and short on getting results. It seems as if winning football and basketball teams are the most important things the schools want. Coaches that don't produce results quickly get to find a new job, teachers just go on teaching no matter te results they are getting.
I find it interesting, the situation you pointed out...Coaches don't produce...they go ! Teachers don't produce...they stay !
Hmmm..that seems even more true where colleges are concerned. Guess that shows where their real concern lies.. in some cases.

NOW, BACK TO THE WALL !

Have you noticed that we have thousands of miles of these kind of walls up...and nary a peep from the leftists ?

Shootall3 One way would be to put non progressives in charge. Then add discipline with real punishments back. Then make parents responsible for their children.

Dixie Dude Texas has the Rio Grande River with several dams along it's route. They have machine gunned patrol boats for the back water. Shallow areas of the river do need a wall, barbed wire fencing, etc to keep swimmers from crossing. The Texas state government is going to help build the wall also. They also have Texas Rangers along the border to help with border patrol.

The wall is symbolic. Everyone knows there won't be a wall the entire border.

The invasion must stop. We need some counter suits to put some Dems in jail for Treason. I for one have had it with the left.

The democrats said it would not work. Just like they say the wall will not work. It worked better than expected. So when the democrats say something won't work expect it to work.
From my experience, it is mostly Democrats... who are the ones who don't want to work..
