carbineone1964 Thanks for sharing the video. I fire some of my small ones on the 4th of July right in Town. I do live on a Corner lot though, and nothing across from me accept a School. Have never had any complaints. And I have cleared it with the Local PD. Was told no Laws against it, yet anyway.

double d What works good with neighbors and cannons, is invite them over, and let them light the fuse.

northwoodneil I don't know how my neighbors feel about my cannon. Never a complaint but no interested souls wandering up close to ask questions. It brings them out on the porch when it goes off though. I shoot into a bluff behind the house and the sound echoes off the bluff across the road. The wife says it rattles the windows but she likes the smell of black powder and is all for it.

grahamaham Funny story I was rolling it out the front walkway and a neighbor asked. "Is that a cannon?" I said yes I was going to fire it off with my father in law and said"Only in the south right?" and the neighbor laughed and said"That's what I'm sayin haha!". Priceless!

northwoodneil You did a beautiful job. All the effort pays off in the end. I've always pictured what mine would look like in a painted carriage, I like it a lot. If I do a 1/2 scale it will be painted. Again, very nice and glad I could help.
